introduction: Have you ever been scared off by the word politics? Is it frightening for you? If we go in a physical discussion of it would you be lost? You've probably never heard a brief, simple, clear, and short definition of democrats, and republicans that you may carry around with you. because political scientists like to doll it up and make it this long theory. Basically democrats are for government and support from government for their needs, wants. On the outside wanting to help people, and more so metropolitan support of each other, along with wanting people to support the underprivelleged and unfortunate basically a lot of things in san francisco you see. republican on the other hand is about self efficiency, a small limited government, deregulation, private sector, individual rights, fhreedom to help yourself and trade, self governing, learning what you can afford, managing the best you can, good neighbor policy unregulated by the government, and so forth.
credibility statement: I have been interested in politics for three years now, intensely researching it, always talking about it, relating it to life, have been said to be very politically knowledgeable by many, write about it, keep up with it, and do a lot of things with it, and even almost considering going in to it but decided I would just watch and vote participating as a citizen rather than work in it as a politician, because their is not many stable jobs.
thesis: Republican politics is the best and most efficient set of politics out there.
preview: Today, I'll be telling you how I got into politics, the history behind republicanism, the parties values, what is generally going on, what is going on at the present moment and in the few past months, and lastly what I as a dedicated authentic disciplined republican have been doing and and will continue to do.

I. Lead up to now
It's been a long journey and I have learnt a lot throughout these three years and very quickly too and enjoyed every minute of it. I often get distracted by politics because it's that interesting.

a. flat tax
b. capitalism limited government
c. conservatism, return to 1776
d. most conservative ideas.
2. I first got into it through a chain of events starting with reading a controversial book.
a. atlas shrugged didn't want to be like the bad guys
b. started my research not much reason on the dems part.
c. decided the republican party was for me. when Mccain and obama was running I was still learning what gop and dem were. So, I didn't exactly follow, but I knew I was for mc'cain. didn't really listen to debate clips or speeches was still learning ideology. started in mid 2009 almost the end watching what obama was doing horrified me.
d. everyone has a dream of what they will do when they turn 18. It's different for everyone and mine I was dead set to registering to vote on my birthday or a few days after or as soon as I could. I wanted originally to register with the gop party, but didn't get to go register until 4-22 of this year was so excited ready to register and couldn't wait. I decided at the last second between the two choices that I would register as a libertarian, but hopefully be able to vote republican.

II. history
The histroy of united States politics has been long and complex, first starting with the foundation of our nation and this relates to a republic because our nation was built as a hrepublic and the politics held by our founding fathers were relatively related to the right as they built the country monuments on romans not greece.

III. values
1. The true republican principals are modeled after our values of competition and capitalism.

perry nevada gop debate 10-18-2011
4. Social issues some conservatives are split some are more liberal, but conservative values are generally strict church values anti-gay anti-abortion, and etc...'

IV. How it is now:
1. Today people are for a different society a different leader and many are looking at the republican party.
2. people are relatively more center right leaning towards some democratic ideals in politics trying to play across the isles, there are some firm conservatives, but they are shunned, pushed off to the side and laughed at.

4. There is a economic crisis so republicans are talking about jobs growth, taxes, and economic plans.
5. like usual other stuff such as foreign policy, recent years race issues, which a lot of republicans have been doing well to state that it's not an issue of race, but americans should identify the american dream and individual rights and many usually contested things in elections are brought up.

V. This years politics
1. it's the gop primary this year at least the beginning of 2012 is, since the dems won't really have a primary Obama is probably going for re-election so there's not much of a primary there, he's the incumbant candidate

2. there are 7 main candidates some others persist, but there are only seven main candidates
a. michelle bachmann R mn: likes to emphasize that she was a tax lawyer raised 23 foster children and not really a front runner but seems to get a lot of face time anyway.
b. herman cain R ga: business man 999 plan lot of negative attitude no experience, but I and some people like him he's black,
c. newt gingridge R ga: lot of baggage, has some left leaning ideas, but otherwise he's good. a little professorial some say, smart knows what he's talking about, his thing is 21st century contract with america.
d. ron paul R tx: close to libertarianism constitutional conservative, pretty radical, believes in 1776, no wars, worry about america, and so forth.
e. rick perry R tx: lot of people are picking at him, governor of texas, not good at debates, like to brag about texas and jobs, talks about jobs endlessly spend a lot of time arguing with Romney, and so forth...

b. I like cain better, but he doesn't have very much experience, I don't like newt as much he's second, but he has experience.
c. love how perry speaks I really like the guy, but there's just not enough content and he seems half the time to be defocused otherwise I like him.

CONCLUSION:
This has given me a chance to think and examine my passion further Today I have spoken to you about the politics of America on the right wing, and I hope that you have learnt something through the six points, how I got into politics, history of the right, values of the right, what is happening now, the politics of this year, and what I am going to do and am doing. If you don't remember anything from today I hope you remember how interesting republican politics are, it doesn't matter if you are for it or not. If you are a republican then you have learnt more about it. If you are a democrat, you are now exposed to the other side and if you don't know then you know what the right does. Whichever side you choose I hope this informative speech has made you more aware and interested in politics and maybe it's a good idea to go out there and pursue more knowledge about politics. I'll close with this, although california is a democratic state, with finestein and boxer as are senators, republicanism is still evidential in this state, and that's the great thing about the united states we can believe as we wish say what we want, and love this country as we please.
